As I've told you in one of my last posts about university, I now have decided to write another one with some photo impressions of my new surroundings. At the moment they aren't many, but at least some ^___^
At first, this is my uncut identity card. It's quite disappointing that it's made of paper, not even plastics as we maybe would expect from our original identity cards...
Some of the books I now use - I never had so many obligatory books. And in this picture four other books are still missing I already got now, for example also a huge English dictionary.
One of the books I found in the Germanist's library, it's an edition of the "Carmina Burana"! One of my favourite medieval works, it's really impressing although it's written in Latin and sometimes a bit difficult to understand. But what really impressed me was the year of publication: 1847! It didn't looked that old at first sight, and it was in very good condition~
And this is the most fabulous thing ever: The handdryer at the ladies'! xD It looks so retro and old-fashioned, but seriously, it's awesome! You need to kick and hold the pedal as long as you want to use it, and it not even seems to be that antique; it doesn't rustle or something, it's in very good condition!
| How awesome is that? xD |
Welcome at Lecture Hall I! This time I sat on the gallery and it's quite comfortable there~ You at least can lean back like in the cinema - if you try to do so downstairs you will hit the materials from the person sitting behind you, that's not very bewitching...
This lecture hall was the theatre hall when the building still was a palace, so it still looks a bit antique - but we also have more modern rooms
Well, of course I still haven't taken photos of everything interesting, but maybe I'll write another post with new impressions. Nevertheless,
thank you for reading!
Junsui~
