Good evening, dear readers!
Today I found a very interesting questionnaire in the internet, and I started answering the questions bit for bit - it wasn't easy at all! >___< Nevertheless, because I really love music I decided to take the challenge, and here are my results:
1: A song you like with a color in the title
D - Akaki ni hitsuji ni yoru bansankai, Like a Black Cat ~Mujitsu no Tsumi~, Black Swan and Silver Acorn Bullet | Adams - White Caress and R-ED | Versailles - The Red Carpet Day | Jupiter - Scarlet
2: A song you like with a number in the title
Difficult... Instantly I just know SIXNINE by Adams ^__^
3: A song that reminds you of summertime
Ville Valo and Natalia Avelon - Summer wine | Lareine - Emeraude and Fleur
4: A song that reminds you of someone you would rather forget about
Versailles - Episode - please just don't ask because of the background, it is too annoying and difficult to explain... The song is beautiful, though!~
5: A song that needs to be played LOUD
Girugamesh - Opening & Destiny | Jupiter - ~己~ Innovation | the GazettE - Inside Beast and Vortex
6: A song that makes you want to dance
There are quite many, I think... Too many to count them all. It also depends on my mood and to which music genre I want to dance to. I'm getting into dance music more and more if it's made good~ At the moment I love to swing to Moulin Rouge by KAMIJO, but I also love Adams' Boys and Girls choreography, for example~ PSY's Gangnam Style or Kaya's Infection, Rock 'n Roll with Calmando Qual's Blood Red Shoes or DJ Sisen's Zi Qian, Lareine's Goshujin sama no Tango... - I could name several others!
7: A song to drive to
Yello - The Race | Adams - Carry | Cinema Bizarre - Touching and Kissing
8: A song about drugs or alcohol
Oh, these are absolutely not the topics of the music I'm listening to... Alcohol is mentioned in Adams' Dizzy Love and Checkmate!, but it is not the central topic, so not worth mentioning it more closely.
9: A song that makes you happy
What could be more obvious: Happy by Pharrel Williams ^__^y but also Lareine's Pink no Kasa, it's just too cute~ >w<
10: A song that makes you sad
Versailles - Serenade; because it was composed after Jasmine You's death what broke my heart...
11: A song that you never get tired of
Many Matenrou Opera songs - they cause you earwigs because of the melodies and their symphonic touch. Moreover Ayame's keyboard skills are just too amazing ^___^
12: A song from your preteen years
Oh my God, I'm dying when I remember the old times, and I could sink into the ground of shame... How have I loved Tokio Hotel's Through the Monsoon, I was one of their biggest fans! Also I was a Cinema Bizarre fan, and when I listen to one of their songs nowadays I instantly feel remembered of my earlier teenage years
13: One of your favorite 80’s songs
Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls | Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)
14: A song that you would love played at your wedding
Jupiter - Conclusion | Versailles - PRINCESS | Misaruka - Kanon
15: A song that is a cover by another artist
Definitely Sweet Dreams from Adams! They covered Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) from Eurythmics, and I really love both versions~
16: One of your favorite classical songs
The whole YOSHIKI classical album, but also Beethoven's Symphony No.9 - which person born in Bonn can't love our dear Beethoven ^__^ but I also fell for Lefébure Wely's Scène Pastorale for church organ, Pachelbel's Kanon in D-Major and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. My favourite classical artist is Bach with his several inventions and especially the Toccata and Fuge in D-Minor~
17: A song that would sing a duet with on karaoke
Does anybody know The Glam? I don't think so, but it's just too awesome to "sing" along with their only hit Join the Spectres - it sounds just too funny and cruel the same time xD
18: A song from the year that you were born
Los del Rio - La Macarena - I didn't know that this song was composed in my birth year ^__^
19: A song that makes you think about life
KISAKI Project feat. Satsuki - Wasurenagusa
20: A song that has many meanings to you
Versailles - MASQUERADE | Dir en Grey - Kodou
21: A favorite song with a person’s name in the title
Versailles - After Claudia | D - Huang Di ~yami ni umareta mukui~ | Lareine - Lillie Charlotte and Cinderella Fantasy | Adams - MARIA
22: A song that moves you forward
Adams - Carry
23: A song that you think everybody should listen to
Versailles - The Revenant Choir - it's a symphony about the whole life, in my opinion~
24: A song by a band you wish were still together
All Versailles songs - they just were a fabulous band, and although I love both Jupiter and KAMIJOs solo work, Versailles were the band I loved from the bottom of my heart...
25: A song by an artist no longer living
Falco - Amadeus | Elvis - Jailhouse Rock and Tutti Frutti
26: A song that makes you want to fall in love
X Japan - Forever Love
27: A song that breaks your heart
X Japan - Tears | Lareine - Setsurenka
28: A song by an artist with a voice that you love
KAMIJOs songs - he has such a wonderful voice, I enjoy every single song he sings, also from Lareine and Versailles~
29: A song that you remember from your childhood
The Star Trek theme - my Dad has always hummed it when he held me in his arms and I slept. Somehow it must have crouched into my consciousness, and I will never forget this melody~
30: A song that reminds you of yourself
There are so many, I can't name them all... It depends on how I'm feeling. I don't know whether I have a personal hymn, but if a song could be me, it could be Versailles' The Revenant Choir
So this was an insight in some thoughts about my music taste - what do you think?
See you another day!~
