Okay, I confess, this time I will write again about cars... Because at the moment I'm just too fascinated about them! Since I got my driving license I'm practising a lot and get used to the little white Ford Fiesta I'm allowed to drive. It's already 26 years old and will receive an H-license plate in four years, has fantastic 50 HP and reaches the maximum of 87 mph. Thus everything is still analogue: The starring wheel without power starring, a rough gear shift (since we're mostly driving gearing cars here, not automatics), no ABS system, just the minimum of applications on the dashboard. At least it has a brake booster. These are "Elliot's" features (since some of the license plate's initials are LJ xD) - but he is quite a cute car, like a good-natured old friend. I like driving with him very much ^___^
But now to the other side. As the headline already reveals, today I tried out driving another car. It was my parents' normal car, a Chevrolet Cruze; and you really can't compare it with Elliot. Twice as long and heavy, 168 HP and packed with technical gimmicks - and that's the reason why I felt more like controlling a spaceshuttle than driving a car... Just push the gas pedal softly and the car shoots away! It wasn't that easy for me to get used to the increased speed that fast; and I was surprised that it was almost too easy to turn the starring wheel with power starring xD I felt more like gliding over the highway than rustling along with the good old Fiesta...
Conclusion: I don't know which car I prefer now... Of course the Chevrolet is very enjoyable to handle and a very elegant and modern car, but Elliot just has flair~ I will continue driving Elliot primarily because of pragmatical reasons, but if I'm allowed I'll also take one or another tour with the Spaceshuttle ^___^
well, just the thoughts of a beginning car driver ^___^ it's strange that I got to like cars that much although no long time ago I was against driving cars and getting a driving license at all. But to be honest: It can give you a feeling of your personal little freedom, when flying along the highway...
But never forget: Power is nothing without control - and always just drive that fast as your protection angel can fly.

Hello, my dear readers!
Today I want to share my thoughts with you; concerning reaching adulthood. Because yesterday I celebrated my 18th birthday what means I'm officially an adult now, responsible for everything I do.
I generally spent a wonderful day and enjoyed it quite much, it felt like every other "normal" birthday. When walking through the streets I closed my eyes and opened them again, looked through the streets and said to myself: "And now you see the world through the eyes of an adult." Had something changed? To be honest, no; the world was still the same, with all its injustice, problems and distress. I also still behave like the same person... It seems as if the conscience hasn't reached me yet, that will be the case later, I guess. Maybe it's because I'm surrounded by older people 95% of the time, and almost all people guessed I would be older than my real age.
That I reached the number 18 was just a last "formal act" - okay, indeed I feel a bit more independent, because now I can really say that it was my decision or fault etc. But I learned taking responsibility for myself and others sometime ago already; and this reached its climax when I got my driving license last week. Because a car is a monstrous machine you easily can kill yourself or others with... And I'm very careful when I'm driving with somebody else. Because if something should happen, maybe not only you will be killed, but also the other persons.
Okay, but too much concerning cars (at the moment I'm just too fascinated about car driving because it makes so much fun! ^___^)...
Conclusion of the general topic: I'm finally 18 now~ It's a new chapter of life, and I will try to make best of it, as always~

Driving license passed!
Good day, dear readers!
Today I have to announce a very special thing: I finally got my driving license!~ ^___^ it took me several months to absolve driving lessons, but now I'm done and succeeded in the end!
But the way until getting there was quite hard... And the final test pure stress >___<; I must confess, one time I almost failed because I wanted to take a wrong way... I just was able to continue because my teacher secretly helped me. Nevertheless, the man who tested me saw that I'm generally able to drive without endangering somebody seriously, and so I passed~ but I'm still nervous as hell and shivering ^__^;
The next time I will need much more driving practise, also because I'm not used to our car yet - it's a real challenge to drive an old car without all the technical gimmicks when you were used to a quite modern one with all the helping features. On my first private trip I almost crashed into another car... Yeah, that's really not encouraging and you feel insecure again.
Okay, but now I should calm down and just be happy that I've managed with it - because now nobody can take this driving license from me anymore!~
