The Police

Hello, dear readers~

Today I want to tell you about a quite funny story that happened to me today ^___^ It's about the police
If the NSA or other secret services should read this, FAT DISCLAIMER: I'm no enemy of any state nor I have something against the law and the police. In opposite; I respect this institution quite much and think they are doing a very important job we need for our society. Moreover I know many friendly policemen, and I never have made any personal bad experiences with them.

Okay...
So, today I tested our motorcycle again after the long winter, and of course the battery was completely empty... So I had to start it countless times until it worked. My gosh, the clouds of white and black smoke were so thick, one hardly could see through them xD When I finally drove around our private parking space for a while without helmet and papers suddenly a patrol car appeared and drove on the place with the front wheels. The two men seemed to want to punish me for not wearing a helmet, but when they realized they were mightless here they changed their plan: The driver lowered the side window and just asked: "And, does it work?" "Yes, finally after the winter months - sorry for all the smoke, but the battery was completely empty..." The answer was best: "Okay, then continue and try your best - good luck!" After that they left again.
...Seriously; why did they even enter the private space for talking to me although they couldn't have missed the big sign at the entry? They seemed to just want to say something to me... -___-; I didn't do anything wrong, guys, so no chance xD
I guess they were just bored during a Saturday afternoon patrol...
At least my first experience with the police wasn't a bad one ^___^

Just another fun story of my everyday life~
Thank you for reading and see you soon ^___^

In good hands

Hello, dear readers!~

Today was a quite busy day, but also with a good result~ As I've told already in my last blog, our caravan was sentenced to death a few days ago... But today a hobby modeler came and had a look on her, and he was convinced he would be able to repair her and bought her without long discussions. We were quite surprised that we were able to sell her that quickly and for still a good prize; we hadn't expected such a luck at all!
In the morning, before the modeler came, we took a last short tour with her, and I was allowed to drive her for the first and also very last time in my life... Oh yes, it was such fun! ^___^ although I expected it would be very difficult to drive her I could convince myself from the opposite: I've always known her as a good-mooded old lady, and it exactly felt like this to drive her. Sometimes a bit difficult and you need lots of power to turn the starring wheel, but generally you can't kill the engine easily and she exactly does what you want her to. Somehow I regret that I couldn't drive her more often and longer... But at least I could say farewell to her in this very special way, and it didn't hurt that much to let her go.
I know she is in good hands now and maybe will see some other parts of  Germany and the world with this new user. I'm quite glad that she isn't scrapped already - come on, she's just 27 years young, she has another full life in front of her ^___^

So goodbye, dear old Lady - I will miss you~

....Again, thank you for being patient with me and reading this emotional stuff ^___^; I promise I won't bother you with such things next time~

See you!

....

Hello, dear readers!

Today became a sad day: Our caravan was in the yearly general inspection and is absolutely unusable now. More than nine defects that impossibly can be repaired - it definitely was sentenced to scrapping.
Somehow this makes me quite sad... I always loved this old Lady, as I call her. Once we met a friendly Italian couple also driving a quite similar caravan, and although theirs was some years younger it looked older - they admired our caravan and said her make up is great, she must be a real lady. That's how she got her name.
Although it always has been a challenge to drive her, she has been sprightly and good-mooded and never disappointed us. Even when we had a tire blowout once she peacefully rolled at the side of the highway and accepted the new tire without difficulties.
I have many positive memories of holidays with her: I have stopped counting to how many places we headed, how many times we were on tour and how many miles we drove together. And my bed inside just was the best ^___^ very huge and comfy, I enjoyed every night quite much...
Somehow I just really can't believe that this shall end that rapidly now. I already had planned another trip and looked forward to drive her myself for the very first time - and now I will never have driven her at all. It's a pity that she "just" got 27 years old, she not even reached the stage of receiving the H-license plate...

I'm very sorry that this post maybe becomes a bit whining and is full of emotional stuff, but somehow I have a really close connection to this caravan... It feels as if a good friend is about to die, you have to watch it and your hands are tied together, you can't do anything against it. It's time to say goodbye now...
I'm not sure whether I will buy myself an own caravan later or whether I prefer driving by car or booking a hotel, but I definitely liked the holidays with her quite much~

At the end a photo of her in her best days - isn't she looking glorious?~ ^__^

Well, thank you for reading and see you~

Another Q&A... No.4: Here's what I think about

Hello, dear readers~

Today I want to continue with my questionnaire project, and this time's topic was "Here's what I think about". So, let's have a look on the answers:

122: War:
Always present around us, in many different forms. We can't escape from it, and we all are a part of it, also maybe without knowing it. One of the most natural human traits...

121: George Bush:
What  a luck that he isn't President anymore...

120: Gay Marriage:

An important step to more gender equality

119: The presidential election:
Probably the most important election of the world every four years

118: Abortion:
If we would be more careful, it wouldn't be neccessary...

117: MySpace:

Not important anymore

116: Reality TV:

Most stupid stuff ever

115: Parents:

The most important persons in your life - honour them and build up a good relationship with them

114: Back stabbers:

Always and everywhere - be careful all the time and don't trust people too much

113: Ebay:

Quite useful to find certain cheap things ^___^

112: Facebook:

Most important social network on earth, whether you like it or not. Almost everybody is a part of it...

111: Work:

One of the best ways to stop philosophing about God, the world and one's individual problems. It can have a cleansing effect to realize one's projects

110: My Neighbors:

Everyone a strange individual... Some of them you like, some not - I think that's normal

109: Gas Prices:

Always opaque - one day expensive as hell, the other day cheaper again. Does it have a clear system?

108: Designer Clothes:

Most of them I don't like at all... Moreover they're way too expensive and the quality not always is the best

107: College:

Maybe not the most pleasant place to be, but neccessary as a preparation for later life. Once you got through it you're quite happy, but someday you will start missing it though...

106: Sports:

Can make much fun if you've found your sports activity. Sometimes you also have to fight although it's hard - but generally human beings need sports to stay healthy and be satisfied with themselves. It's a part of a fulfilled life

105: My family:

Quite big, but actually also small in the closest circles. Family is nothing you choose but you naturally have, so you have to arrange with them

104: The future:

Don't rely on what maybe is up for you - you are your own master and are the only one who is responsible of how your way will lead you to

Well, that should be everything for today
See you next time~
